What is the Common Data Model?

The Common Data Model (CDM) is a cloud-resident business database that was built on years of experience with Microsoft’s enterprise customers. The CDM aligns the data structure of Microsoft’s ERP and CRM applications (Dynamics 365) with the Office 365 productivity suite by providing hundreds of standard, shared business entities.
